Loko made the guests string along their first attack but Mircovic shot three in the end. Collins responded with two in the paint but Keedus successfully shot from downtown. After a series of switches, Loko took the lead for the first time due to Elegar – 11:10. Kalev returned its advantage by three-pointers (4/7 in the quarter) and broke Loko’s rhythm by fouls. Lokomotiv executed 10 free throws (60 per cent was good). The result of the first period was 19:21.
In the second quarter, Lokomotiv Kuban came back in its game: simplified offenses, assisting centers under the rim, and prevented Kalev from scoring threes. Ahead of the second half, Krasnodar got a double-digit advantage – 45:33.
At the beginning of the third quarter, Erik Keedus committed second unsportsmanlike foul and left the arena. Lokomotiv Kuban created comfortable conditions for Broekhoff and Babb on the three-point line. Chris shot two 3Ps, Ryan compensated one missed shot by accurate free throws. At the end of the quarter, Kulagin added energy to the team and made the advantage +20. Collins dunked with the buzzer – 72:55.
In the fourth quarter, Ilnitsky’s three extended Loko’s advantage to +31. The Russian five played in the second half of the period – 95:62.

- I think we did what we had to. The second half arranged everything back to order. Our focused defense in the second half changed the game. We made many easy shots and made the opponent play our basketball.
